U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Visits Malawi

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Linda Thomas-Greenfield visited Malawi June 28-30 to engage Malawian government, parliament, military, and civil society leaders in conversations regarding the U.S.-Malawi relationship.

Assistant Secretary Thomas-Greenfield underscored the long-standing strong relationship between the two countries and pledged continued U.S. assistance to Malawi, particularly in the realm of food security as Malawi faces growing need.
