Peace Corps Swears-in New Global Health Service Partnership Volunteers

U.S. Ambassador to Malawi Virginia Palmer today swore-in 15 new Peace Corps Global Health Service Partnership (GHSP) volunteers and 1 Peace Corps Response Volunteer, who will soon begin a year of service in Malawi. These new volunteers are the fourth cohort of GHSP volunteers to serve in Malawi since the GHSP began in 2013, bringing the total number of GHSP volunteers in Malawi to 44. The program places qualified American physicians and nurses as adjunct faculty in medical and nursing schools in Malawi including the College of Medicine, Mzuzu University, Kamuzu College of Nursing, Dae Yang College of Nursing, and St. John of God College of Health Sciences.
