A demonstration is scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Lilongwe starting at 08:00. The demonstration will begin at Lilongwe Community ground and proceed to Paul Kagame Road through Area 18 roundabout and end at Malawi Police Service headquarters in Area 30.
Actions to Take:
- Exercise caution when moving around Lilongwe.
- If you see a barrier or individuals blocking your path, turn around and find an alternate route.
- If you unable to depart, keep your windows up and your doors locked, seek shelter if needed.
- Avoid large crowds and always leave yourself room to maneuver.
